Severnside Derby
The kick-off was at 12 midday for the Cardiff City FC v Bristol City football match, known as The Severnside Derby.
Cardiff lost the match at Ashton Gate on 4th November 2-1 after a Cardiff player was sent off (rightly) so it was sure to be an ultra competetive match. It was! It was also one of the scrappiest games I've ever seen with the ball spent up in the air most of the time.
The most important thing was Cardiff won the match 1-0 with a goal by forward, Zahore, in the 82nd minute. The three points cemented their place in second position in the Championship and put them four points ahead of Aston Villa in third. We also closed the gap on leaders Wolves to six points. It's looking good for automatic promotion to The Premiership.
The photo shows Zahore scoring his goal.
