Four Elms

Still not well enough for a long walk so we went for a car drive / short walk because it was sunny and frosty underfoot so the mud was not too  squishy. An attractive village pond with some very green ducks- extra. I looked on the internet to see I could find any mention of the elms but nothing.  I did find that the village has a famous son, Peter Handford a sound recordist who worked for Alfred Hitchcock in the early days and won an Academy Award for the sound on Out of Africa. It is a very small village. He is probably their only famous son.
