Buster

Popped over to the steam engine workshop to catch up with my pal Bill and see how the refurbs are doing. Boiler check day for Buster, a mighty fine looking Aveling roller.

It was a bitter cold day so I kept close to the engine for warmth. The sound and smell of the steam is better than any spa day. See a short video here.

Back in the aircraft workshop late afternoon and the smell of dope was less appealing. The progress MK made today on doping the control surfaces was mighty impressive however!

Snow and plummeting temperatures may cause minor delays on the Turb rebuild progress this week, a chance for the team to get some rest.
