I'm Coming In For A Landing!

There was lots of excitement at the pond today, in between the rain showers. The Blue Heron Returned and a "Kingfisher" arrived (that was a big surprise!) out of nowhere, much to my dellight!! In between all of that, the mallards were flying in and out of the pond, and I caught this one with my new camera and lens between the reeds at the edge of the pond.

Last night we had a pretty sunset with the clouds being lit up by the setting sun....and rain coming down at the same time. I always love those weird combinations of rain and sun....no rainbows, but some pretty impressive and moody scenes. I've included those with the pond photos from today on my FLICKR PAGE!
