Maritime Molds

We are once again on our way to visit our boat in Roche Harbor. That means a ferry ride from Anacortes to Friday Harbor! As we drove through Anacortes, we noticed some ship building molds in a large lot...fascinating to see!! They take these molds and spray gelcoat in first which forms the outer layer of the yacht and then they add layers of fiberglas and lay up the hull...one of those things you don't think about until you see these molds!
