The Humble Sparrow (Dunnock?)

As snow fell this morning a Robin popped into view. Grabbed the camera changed the lens and.......realised I had no card in as the Robin disappeared over the roof tops.

In its stead a Sparrow (update just been told it’s a Dunnock) helped me out perched on a ledge by the garage door.

Sad news today as I found out our neighbour had passed away on Saturday. He had been stoically battling against a brain tumour for five years. Latterly he has been house bound and lost his fight for life whilst we were in Wales.

Feeling the exertions of the weekend so have decided to give a cycling class a miss tonight. Although Pilates this morning helped the tired muscles.
