Our bedroom and dressing room are finally finished...apart from a disconcerting and as yet unexplained water leak coming through the ceiling downstairs beneath the shower which has caused some annoying deconstruction. Grrrr.
Didn’t leave the warmth of the house today apart from feeding the birds and a quick run to pick up the dry cleaning.
Let’s see if the Siberian Beast really does visit tonight. We have amber warning and it all seems a bit hysterical. Cancelling all the trains and generally crippling the economy based on a forecast. Apparently if the train horn freezes then the whole train isn’t safe. I am just thinking trains in genuinely cold places may already have a solution to this!!!
