At last - a Curlew

Woke up to blue skies and a light sprinkling of snow, but nothing to write home about....yet!
Decided on an early drive out to the Bay to see if I could get the elusive curlew and I finally managed it. He was all alone, but just about close enough for a reasonable shot. 
We've had a few flurries of snow during the day, but I fear the worst is yet to come overnight. Nobody took the decision to leave today, so we will all head off in our respective directions tomorrow morning. Most people are heading back towards London, one to Woking, and one all the way to Plymouth!! We only  have about 200 miles to travel, but I'm sure it will take us more than the 4 hours it did to get here......
