Pancake Tuesday?

Ok, I do know that P T was really two weeks ago but this was the scene in out kitchen this afternoon.
We collected Eve from nursery and lunched at the local Courtyard Coffee Shop. Eve is a bit "mupshet" (upset) that she will soon be at school all day and not be able to enjoy those Courtyard lunches. We have assured her that there will still be weekends and holidays.
Back to this afternoon. MaggieD decided to try pancake making using her Aunt Grace's old "girdle" (griddle). I would love to say that they were great but they really did taste good although maybe a bit more practice is required to reach the culinary heights of Mag's Mum or Aunt Grace.
