If you go down to the woods today

You'd better be wearing snowshoes!
Much snow overnight and it has continued pretty much all day. The lazy east wind has blown the snow about and carved lots of little drifts.
Our roads were just passable this morning but despite gritters and snowploughs, have got a lot worse. Public transport is shutting down this afternoon and the police advise we stay off the roads unless travel is essential. It's going to be an interesting night!
