It's A Dog's Life

"The Beast From The East" (or the west if you believe the STV weather forecast) was due in in the early hours of the morning.
Not much evidence of it round the pond when I opened the curtains.
I took PD on a shorter, flatter route this morning as my thigh muscle is still playing up. 
I liked the way the paths stood out with their white angles so took a short series worth (starting here).

On our lunchtime walk the snowdrops were out in force and the icicles on the roots above the stream were looking good.
Talking of the stream - it is a long way down compared to January.

The snow has been more hailstones than than flakes and despite the news telling us it is hell out there, our snow doesn't even cover the grass  ......... yet
