Met with the tax person today and that's all taken care of (I get a refund.  Yay! Which I will spend on the property tax. Boo!).

As you can see in the picture, it's a gray day but Salem and I bundled up and went to walk by the lake, as usual. This great big bird was hulking 30 feet up a tree, jutting out over the lake. Looking for his/her next meal. I assume it's a juvenile bald eagle. I guesstimate it's wingspan to be at least 5-6 feet. This was the best picture I could get, given its position and my teensy lens.
