we did the newburgh beach clean with surfers against sewage. it was disgusting and I’m still raging about the amount of dog shit...not only picking it up, in bags, but cleaning it off my boots at home too. not being a much of a dog person, it’s even more annoying. and everyone seems to have them now. it’s not the dogs, it’s their bloody owners. next time I’m not cleaning the areas around the car park, I’ll just do the other crap on the beach, it’s slightly cleaner.

we also found loads of nurdles and cotton bud stems from folk putting them down their toilets. all easily swallowed...

it was so cold we only lasted an hour and a half...rosey cheeks all evening. the photo is of peggy and gillian collecting nurdles. ace to see peggy enjoying these beach cleaning days.
