Enjoying the snow

We woke up to a deep snow and it continued to snow for most of the morning. Not even tractors got through first thing and that is very rare. We had nowhere to go, so we just stayed in, got on with things and watched the snow – it was so beautiful.

By the afternoon the sun was shining and children were out in the field with their sledges. It was good to watch them. It’s now snowing again. And we have high winds forecast, so I don’t think we will be going out tomorrow either. It’s a good thing Gordon makes his own bread.


I am delighted that so many people have really liked my murmuration photo and so many have put it into their favourites. It is still up there on the popular page. It's a joy to have been able to share the experience with so many.
