Linotype Machine (circa 1964)

This old linotype machine sits in the lobby of The Toronto Star newspaper's premises. They were used to lay out a newspaper line by line by line. A plaque near it says it was in use at The Star and that the last one was shut down and removed on July 1, 1978.
