Impromptu baking session

Understandably my planned walk up Helvellyn was cancelled today. Snow, a wind chill temperature of -25 degrees C and 70 mile an hour gusts proved just too much for the intrepid U3A. Today has been a total write-off. We were due to see Blazin Fiddles at the Brewery Arts Centre tonight but they are stuck in Scotland. I resorted to some baking ... oat and raisin cookies. There were 10 of them when they came out of the oven a short while ago!
