back blip... 

we've been struggling to find things to do during all this bad weather and time off  from nursery... so we have taken to  letting little un buy random, cheap and cheerful toys from the 'Stop n Shop'  using her christmas money...

gotta love it... we've had books for practicing writing, a scrapbook, a paint some plaster cast animals kit,  but our total favourite was the £1.50 hatch your own pretend turtle... it took three days in a pint glass of water for the thing to hatch from its shell and  grow entirely,  but it was weirdly entertaining, a bit like having your own alien life form in the house...  

I'm tempted to try a dinosaur next :-)
