Hypnsnowsis

A condition caused by there being endless amounts of snow, which sends you to a state of mind where you try and convince yourself you are somewhere hot and have to dress accordingly.

I struggled to get and stay warm today, hence the Sheikh-ish look. Pretending to be in a desert is a way of role playing up the heat.

All I can say is that it was a lot of hard work. The cats are getting bored. The wind is bitter. We checked on an elderly neighbour tonight to make sure he had everything he needed. His house felt a lot warmer than ours.

One more day of the white stuff then we should be over the worst of it ...
