Dervaig to Quinish Point

Today I decided to follow Christine's advice and walk to Quinish Point. The weather here has been cold and windy, but dry - so not a bad day for a hike. I stopped at this spot on the way and took a photo, but this photo is from the way back. This was the view from my 'lunch room' where I enjoyed a Scottish cheddar and mustard sandwich. I took many photos with my 6D but haven't downloaded them yet - so this will suffice for today's blip. Most of the hike was fairly easy, although sore feet slowed me a little, but there were a couple of parts, including an uphill slog, where I was buffeted by headwinds. I had planned to lunch at the point but sheltered spots were in short supply, although I believe a sheep or two had managed to find some. The views on the walk were spectacular, with varied landscapes and seascapes. And my iPhone is telling me I walked 23,921 steps so I'm feeling quite virtuous - but tired, and a little sore. I'm just going now to make some tomato and zucchini soup for dinner ...
