They're Back!!!

Two years ago exactly, after a big storm blew through here, Bluebirds appeared in our backyard for the first time.  They stayed for about 2-3 months, made a nest, had a brood and then disappeared. I have seen none in the backyard since....until today. We are in the middle of an incredibly fierce windstorm, and the backyard is full of birds... including 6 bluebirds and 4 Cedar Waxwings, a bird that I have rarely seen and certainly never in the yard.  (See extras)

I would be dancing for joy if we hadn't lost a few lot of roof shingles too.
