Sunday Afternoon Sun

Today is my husband's birthday, so we went to the movies this morning to see "The Shape of Water" which we really enjoyed, and tonight it won an Oscar for Best Picture.  It was a quiet day at home after that, with a little time outside in the yard, me with my camera trying to get shots of birds, and my husband raking and scaring them all away... so instead we have a flower for my blip, taken as the late afternoon sun came in the kitchen window.   My husband's special request for dinner was homemade pizzas, so that was what I made, and then we watched a hockey game (our son's team won) and the Oscars, through which we dozed a little. He received lots of phone calls and messages with birthday wishes so I think he felt it was a very nice birthday.  Sometimes the quiet ones are the best.
