Galveston, Oh Galveston!

When we mentioned to family and friends that we were stopping here for the night on our road trip, everyone of them sang the song to us!
We drove from Louisiana into Texas and arrived as it was almost dark, so we checked into our hotel and went for cocktails. Mine is the peach Bellini-tini and Mr F had the Galveston iced tea!
The daylight photos of the peanut butter warehouse (I wouldn't want to work there!) the beach and pier and a harbour scene were all taken the morning of the2nd, but as I couldn't post my blip on the 1st due to rubbish internet connections at the hotel, I think it still counts!
Galveston is a cruise line departure point, a working harbour and a holiday destination, but the weather was quite windy, cloudy and still warm.
