Day 2

So again I couldn't choose, but this gives more of a flavour of Nworlins right?
We started the day with breakfast at our hotel, and got the streetcar down to the shops where we stopped for coffee at the start, and also stopped in at The Blind Pelican for a Peach Spritz, Dixie Voodoo and Aligator sausage (no wonder Mr F has had an upset tum!)
The photo of the tree shows all the beads and necklaces tossed from the Mardi Gras parade a few weeks ago, almost all the trees along the parade route are like this.
We're liking this City, the people are very friendly and helpful, and did I mention that the weather is 28 degrees, breezy and sunny today!
