2018 Friday — Grammie Fun’s House

Life in Funville has not been a load of fun lately. Mr. Fun’s mom, who is now 95-years-old, and stubborn, belligerent, obnoxious, and rude, is about 98% of the time in complete dementia, which explains her behavior. It is all very sad, bewildering, and immensely difficult.

Today Mr. Fun spent approximately a half hour on the phone with his mom’s doctor, who was almost no help at all. He did say he would request for her to be put on hospice, but we have almost no hope that the people at the local Kaiser Medical facility can be of any help. That department,  just yesterday, denied “palaitive” care so getting
