The Loneliness of the Long Distance Shopper...

.. A gorgeously bleak day here.

There were some but not so many sledgers today (are they tired of it already?). Also part of the lake was frozen (see extras).

In the garden I spent a while hoping for fieldfare but to no avail. Two robins came and joined me though, happy for crumbs.
The temperature has risen to minus one, so it feels positively tropical compared with the minuses in double figures of the past few days.

I'm struggling for anything more interesting to say. I'm putting this lethargy down to having eaten my own weight in the most delightful croissanty sausage roll (veggie) EVER, from a bakery in town which is surely channelling ambrosia.
I might not eat again until a week on Thursday.
