Fancy an ice cream?
In this weather, the local farm shop may do better advertising hot chocolate?! (NB. Other brands of ice cream are available!)
Slightly less cold today, not far below freezing, and though it snowed a little overnight, there's been none so far today. The roads and pavements in Wooler itself are fairly clear, due to the efforts a huge number of people (organised by the Parish Council, I think) who have worked tirelessly for the last 5 days. This morning MrM and I walked Louie down to the main road to see the state of play there - it's clear, but the the smaller roads aren't yet. Took several photos of the huge piles of snow along the sides of the roads, but they'd make boring, grey blips.
After a couple of days of feeling quite lethargic - maybe we're supposed to hibernate in very cold weather? - MrM and I both spent today quite productively. MrM has been working on the floor in the 'music room', and I've been tackling some of those little jobs that it's all too easy to put off indefinitely! Flagging now...
Many thanks for the stars for yesterday's Blip.
