Shelter from the storm

Third unscheduled day off due to the 'Beast from the East'! Hoping to get in to Berwick on Monday, but the forecast for the weekend doesn't look good.

MrM was kept busy this morning sorting out a few weather-related problems, while I finished filing away the last few papers from my 'in tray'. It's now - dare I say it - empty! Hooray!

In the afternoon MrM and I walked up to the Common with some food for the birds and squirrels. Quite hard going through deep snow drifts in places. On the way we passed the smallholding, where these three were quite happy to pose!
