Thaw time

It’s not over yet for much of the country, but here in the south-east the thaw has started. We awoke to morning mist and shrinking snow, with green lawn edges visible for the first time in several days. What a relief. Last night was hellish for commuters, and my daughter’s usual hour-and-a-bit commute took three and a half hours. Thank goodness for a Saturday lie-in!
