The Take-Off

After checking our 1.30pm flight from Bristol wasn't cancelled, we left home and parked our car in the snow covered car park opposite the terminal about 11.15am.

Instead of taking off on time we were sat waiting on the plane whilst ground crew defrosted, checked and prepared the plane only to lose our slot causing a total delay of two hours............but at least we took off into the sun. A nice surprise was meeting my old boss on the same flight who'll also get the same return next week.

We landed at Feurteventura as the sun was setting. The photo I like best was taken on Bristol Airport runway of a plane taking off with snow on the ground. The last we'll see for a while!
