You don't think of a sword as being vulnerable, but I suppose it is a lesson in life that even the most powerful things (and people) have their weak point. Achilles mum dipped him by one foot in the river Styx to make him free of shortcomings but she held him by the heel and when he was older a poisoned arrow got him right there where it hurts a superhero. How unlucky is that? Only himself to blame 'though, he should have worn some stout footwear ... sensible shoes as my mother might say ...
Not a bad day - had to drive to Newbury for a meeting this afternoon - but very misty everywhere. The blip is of Dylan, who is sucker for a silver ball and likes to retrieve them like a dog. You could say his foible is foil balls ...
