Over the hills & not far away
Across the fields to Church Beck today, no sign of the deer though.
Pushka seems more used to the hole in the wall, and it theoretically opens up more options for us to wander. Well, the options were always there, it just makes them easier.
A problem possibly to be negotiated is that in her dotage Pushka has decided she doesn't like bridges. Often we can ford most streams, but currently, as the snow melts, that's not an option here. So instead we wandered along the Beck looking for dippers, wagtails and blip inspiration. I paused on a snow free rock for a while and slowly soaked in the tinkling tumbles of the water, the twists of the flow, the colours reflected in the sparkles and the moodiness of the trees. On a day like today it felt quite magical.
A new favouritest place. Blip done.
