Langamull Beach

Today's walk was to Langamull Beach and then to a settlement that was abandoned in the 1700s. On the way, on the wonderful single track roads that abound on this island, I pulled over into a passing place to let a car overtake me. Surprisingly a little further on, they were pulling into the same parking area that I was going to. It seemed we were all on a mission to visit Langamull Beach. Not only that but it turns out that the couple in the car are my companions on tomorrow's wildlife tour. Small island :) The walk was around 6 or 7 km all up - so reached my 10000 step goal. (14,543 according to my iPhone.) This afternoon I popped into the Bellachroy to see Christine and then came home and whipped up a delicious mushroom risotto. Not a bad day, all in all.
