Snowy snowdrops

The thaw has started with earnest and it’s nice to see grass again. We managed to get the dogs out on a longer walk, down to the golf course. I liked how the patches of snow made a pattern on the greens - see extra.

On the way back up through the woods we saw the start of the foliage of the wild garlic, which will soon replace the snowdrops. I managed to catch the last few poking their heads up after being submerged in their white blanket.

This evening I have been hunting for things that will rust, in prep for my textile group on Saturday. Of course once found I have had to try and speed up the rusting process.
