Only snow drops left!

The snow is going and is gone!  The weather has been most bizarre here as it became so warm in the sunshine that we had to turn the heating off and open the window!

N's birthday.  We were supposed to be eating out but the restaurant had closed for the w/e - so roast beef and apple crumble for all at home.  After lunch we took the dog for a walk and enjoyed the greenery, warmth and spring flowers once again - the last few days seem like an incredible dream!  There is a bit of flooding down the hill and as long as it doesn't freeze tonight we should be back to normal!
