Snow play

It was a proper snow day today, it started snowing mid morning and got quite a bit thicker on the ground than yesterday.

We decided to head out mid-morning for a sledge walk into town with our friends Abi and Laura, 6 children between us and 2 of the husbands! We all sledged up to Costa with snow angels and snowball fights on the way. Costa was packed when we got there, sledges were stacked against walls, the floor was wet through with everyone’s wellies and they were doing a roaring trade!

We had cakes, drinks and sausages rolls and headed back through the snow which was coming down fast again.

When we got back we built a snowman with 2 sets of neighbours (loving the community spirit) and then headed in to warm up at last! What a lovely day.
