For the record

Independent, but not necessarily interesting, facts about today:

1. It did not rain.
2. School was (supposed to be) a student-free zone for "professional development" *  I don't think these two got the msg.** 
3. Best Picture won by "The Shape of Water" just as I walked out the door this morning.  Clearly they didn't get my msg.*** 
4. On the feline front, those who follow my journal may be heartened to know that in the last few days Harry and Gentle have started playing together.  Quite a lot. This would be a comfort of immense proportions for me if it wasn't for the fact that 'playtime' includes the wee small hours.  
5. Hosted by Nickimags, today's theme for Mono Monday is "ugly".   This is easily the ugliest location at school, the basement corridor.
