Ice Cone

Back at work today after a week away. A haircut at lunch time and a walk up to the park mid-afternoon as I needed some fresh air.

Save for a couple of dirty grey snowmen the snow itself had disappeared however I was surprised that ice remained on  virtually the whole of the paddling pool and over half of the ornamental lake (see extra).

The ice on the paddling pool was well over an inch and a half thick. It's reckoned that two inches is necessary to safely support a person on skates or on foot.
