Arrival

I spent today working in the kitchen, because Jess (the cat), cottoned on to the easy access to the bird feeder as I blipped two days ago. She was in and out the cat flap all day, sometimes sitting right under the feeder... not so clever cat then!

Ever so often I spent five minutes taking photos of the birds and I know I was lucky to get this one, the flying bird was not there when I went to press the shutter. I am fairly certain they are linnets and I assume they must be hungry because I can't remember the last time I saw them feeding here... normally I just hear them tweeting away in the sky.
