Substitute

Since I forgot my camera today, you don't see: driving rain, amazing rainbow, leaves on sidewalk, Willamette River and birds on river. Instead, this is a sand painting I've been dabbing on. I like how the green is coming, but not the yellow. The sand is thrown on the canvas, then water is poured through it until it makes a design, and then "medium" which is basically a plastic glue, is sprayed all over and it sticks the sand to the canvas. Then you paint (in case you wanted to know)

On the artistic front, I just signed up for a pastel class on Saturday, from this local artist. I'm psyched.
