Bye Bye Beijing!!

The beginning of a long day, as we depart from this beautiful airport. A little retail therapy in duty free followed by my first cappuccino for 12 days and I felt that I could have flown without a plane!!!

Great flight with Air China, comfortable seats in economy and good service. The 11 hour flight passed quickly, aided by 2 good films, some interesting music and a thriller of a book.

A second cappuccino at Heathrow bus station kept me awake for the trip to Stansted Airport to be met by B.

So good to be home!! These trips are exciting, hard work and great fun to be away with the girls, but you cannot beat home.

Bed by 11pm, after 23 hrs on the go:0(
