Deadheads
It being a lovely spring day here - mild, with bright sunshine despite the odd trace of snow still lying around - I should have shot something appropriate like our crocuses (brilliantly colourful despite taking a bit of a battering from the Beast from the East). Instead, I went for last year's hydrangeas. I always find their dried up, washed out look very pretty. I caught them in the shadow with the background lit by the late afternoon sun, and I've accentuated the colour casts from that slightly in the processing.
