Better a week.........

late than never we successfully made our visit to Helmsley and the surrounding area! Years ago I would spend endless hour in the area during the shooting season as a driver and loader for my old boss. There was still a lot of snow on the road sides and "ligging" behind walls. It was not possible to capture the deepest snow as I couldn't stop, I have add one road in extras. Along with a beautifully rebuilt dry stone wall which had be halted by the weather.
The reason for the visit originally "high tea" at the Black Swan Tearoom in Helmsley to mark my birthday. A week late the tea items also in extras tasted just as sweet! Home safe and sound with little interest in cooking a meal ;0)
