Who's for a dip in the ice hole?

E is in the Luosujärvi ice hole. G is out of sight doing circuits. 

The method is to get the wood sauna to complete meltdown temperatures so that you simply have to escape the building. Then once onto the wooden gangplank, it only goes to one place ... the lake! It draws you in with the knowledge that afterwards everything will feel lovely. Just a short period of discomfort as you lower yourself into the dark waters, breaking through the glazed surface as the water freezes in the air temperature -15º C. Once the deed is done, it takes a little care to climb up the glazed ladder steps, but the cold is gone and your skin comes to life. With some elation you almost float gently back to the sauna to repeat the process all over again.
