Timing Is Everything
Today at work, I sent a little Lync (instant) message to a colleague in another building.
His availability immediately changed to ‘Do not disturb’
I figured that this was because he was busy with other people so I sent him an email enquiring if this was the case.
The reply…
“The message wasn’t a problem.
Unfortunately I had Outlook open on the big screen as I was taking people through an email someone had sent. Then a new email arrived with the subject “Doing a presentation when my message popped up?”. That had the room in an uproar!!”
That made me laugh all day!
