Tethered

This crocodile of tethered nursery children out for a walk by the canal this morning brought to mind a husky dog train pulling a sledge across the snow fields of the Arctic. Either that or an elaborate variation of a multi legged race.

However it strikes me as the ideal solution for shepherding unruly crocodiles of foreign language students around the city. With them all neatly bound together, it would be so much easier for the citizens of our so popular destination to go about their daily business unhindered.

But I digress. The sun was out in force today, and although not exactly balmy (6°!) it did feel a little Spring- like, putting an extra bounce into our walk and some of the Meadows crocuses as well, even though many have lost the will to live.
My ‘illegal’ daffodils have shrugged off their snowy duvet and look quite perky. Their day in the blip limelight will come.
