Today's the day ....................... to spring into action

A lovely spring-like morning dawned today with proper sunshine and reasonable temperatures.

The pond was unfrozen - and incredibly the frogs (that have appeared from nowhere) were already at it - making sure that there will be another generation of them to carry on.  Believe it or not, I dusted off my bike and went off on a cycle-ride.  I didn't go far - but it was far enough for me to confirm what I suspected might well be the case.

And that is that I have absolutely NO muscles (to speak of) in either of my legs ....................
