Road works, flowers and International Women's Day

We went for a wander to collect the mail and visit the amazing Begonia House in the main Park. First was the road sealing outside our house ( extra ) which didn't really need attention but was on the list to do after 7 years. What a smell from the tar, I feel for the men working on the job day after day.

Next we saw some beautiful flowers in the park and on the way home I saw a banner across the road which I thought I would enter for IWD.

They need two men working full time to keep the begonias up to display condition.

No women working! Well maybe they, like me, have a day off ( or are retired).
