The Needles & lighthouse off the Isle of Wight.

I utterly relate to that lighthouse. 
It may sound silly but it represents how I have lived, and continue to live, my life. I have a wonderful family, wonderful friends, my strength and robust good health but I have also felt oddly alone and different. A part of the human race, but never a part of the crowd. I like intimate dinners but not parties, I like sailing with friends but not crowded beaches and when I'm alone in the house or my car it is in silence, so that I can hear the sounds of the universe and not the petty jibber-jabber of others. 
Am I crazy? Maybe, but I guess that I always have been, and always will be, just that.
