In my local lounge, how significant is this?

A snapshot, almost in mono, within the colourful photo, of the man without whom, this environment would amount to nothing. His world is work; black and white and no greys. Shut up, do it and no argument. We sit enjoying the benefits of his labour, basking in the colour and the glory.
And in the end, it's all thanks to him.
