Not so lovely

I almost blipped a lovely Ladybird today but something kept drawing me back to this Earwig that I managed to photograph in a very shaded area at the park just before I rode my bicycle home after walking one of the dogs from the sanctuary this afternoon. The poor thing had lost one of its antennae but it didn't seem to bother it.

The weather today was very sunny and warm again. I haven't dared look at the forecast yet but I hope it will last a little longer.
